Last Monday,we had a meeting about Art and Design , the professor Zhao has a lot of experience about that and taught us how to learn and pay attention on arts.He talked about Suzhou gardens.We learned a lot of knowledge.

That presentation contained 2 parts.One is introuction,the other is appreciation.
First is introduction.What is garden?It means hills ,trees ,walls and water.Mr.Zhao show a lot of pictures to us and introduce .Suzhou Garden is one of China's top ten spots.These simulated natural landscape garden, the use of water, stones and trees to absorb the literature, painting, calligraphy, sculpture, crafts, and other skills the way through the grounds of water, overlapping mountains, green, architecture, furnishings, decorative, such as the formation of the Center for the construction of an integrated Arts, to create poetic mood of the mountains right close by home city, has a unique style, concentrated in southern China to show the essence of landscape architecture. Their number, knowledge of fine arts in the world today for any part of the rare, Suzhou garden is not only an excellent Chinese historical and cultural heritage, but also the world's cultural treasure house of Chinese art treasures.
Second is appreciationSuzhou gardens are concentrated natural landscape,and it is very famous.There are many gardens in it ,such as Humble Administrator's Garden,Garden of Surging Wave Pavilion, Lion Grove Garden .Suzhou garden is a really good artwork that is worth enjoying.The garden can compose pools and flowers,these component parts can attract people's attention.From everywhere to see the Suzhou garden always like a beautiful picture.The artists pay attention to every detail.The artist should be carefully with every part.The buildings of Suzhou Classical Gardens not only have the location, shape and density are very different,but also have a lot of types.It is one of the main advertages.The artists used the specil ways to design the Suzhou garden. They used their main to think a lot ,some parts are fiction ,some parts are genuineness.These parts contact each other and give us good feeling. The vague parts embody a kind of deep arts.The artwork is full of connotation.To be a good artwork,appearance is less importanr,the connotation is more important.It is the main advertages.
I learned a lot from that presentation,and I will try my best to study the Art.
